Exciting news for WRAPT Wildlife Carers!

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a generous grant from the Department of Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (DETSI). This funding has enabled us to purchase essential supplies that will significantly enhance our ability to care for injured and orphaned wildlife.

Thanks to this grant, we have acquired humidity cribs, and heat pads, which are crucial for stabilizing and nurturing young or vulnerable animals in our care. These supplies provide the ideal environment for neonatal and critically injured wildlife, helping regulate their temperature and hydration levels to improve their chances of survival.

Additionally, we have invested in specialized milk formulas, which will greatly assist our dedicated rehabilitators. Proper nutrition is key to ensuring wildlife in care grow strong and healthy, and with a steady supply of milk, our team can provide the best possible support for rescued joeys, possums, and other milk-dependent species.

This funding reinforces our commitment to providing top-tier wildlife care and rehabilitation. We extend our gratitude to DETSI for their support and belief in our mission. With these new resources, we are better equipped than ever to give our native wildlife a second chance.
